All I can think about is Johann!! It's true...he hasn't done anything in a Mets uniform yet, but he has made me ALMOST forget about the last two weeks of 2007.
I'm a Mets fan in the NL and a Rangers fan in the AL. Rangers? I'll be happy with a .500 season. Oh, who am I fooling?!! I'll even be happy if we're 10 games under .500...hope does spring eternal.

My biggest problem right now is really not a problem but a challenge to me and to all Texas Ranger fans across the country. Every year it's the same story and I'm SOOO tired of it. I wish I didn't have this team in my blood! I want to stop rooting for them but I CAN'T!!!! My Ranger season is usually over by June, but I always have that eternal hope that we'll put together a 15 game winning streak, get a good closer, and pull it all together by September. You baseball fans all know this story too well. I'm from the Bronx, for goodness sake! I can't take another losing Ranger season...
Well Johan had one great game and one loss so far, we'll see what happens. Too bad the Yankees didn't get Johan, they really need some good pitching. I know how much you love the Yankees!!!
